ABOUT GACK
Greetings! Thank you for visiting Gack-Apps.com. My name is Brian Gackenbach and I am the owner/developer here at Gack-Apps.com. I started this website in the fall of 2002 after falling in love with Palm OS® application development. My original intentions where to expand upon my current programming skills (primarily VB, and C++) to include the ability to develop on this exciting portable platform.

Little did I expect that I would develop such a passion for it. My first applications where written for personal use. It was only after showing off some of my work to some colleagues that I decided I would take my labors to the internet and share them with the world.

The works you will currently find here on Gack-Apps.com represent my initial efforts. I have developed a few other applications not listed here that are not shareware. These applications where explicitly written for a particular clients needs. This new arena of “Custom Application Design” suited to the individual clients needs will be the primary direction of growth that I foresee for Gack-Apps.com. However, I will continue to develop and release both shareware and the occasional freeware application which are intended for the general Palm Powered™ handheld user.

I have many application ideas on the “chalk board”. One current project is an application to assist the typical college student in managing his/her busy schedule. Tracking due dates for assignments...impending test/quiz's....etc. Given my background in the healthcare field, I also have a work in progress intended to assist facilities with IV Nurses to track and care for their patients as well as allow for analysis of the types and numbers of requests this department receives. I welcome your request for any custom application development.
