If you frequent any of the online auction sites then you’ll love Auction Butler! Auction Butler is designed to allow you to easily record the auctions you are interested in so you can set an alarm to remember to check on its progress. This is also helpful for those that sell on these sites as well. With Auction Butler, you enter the details about the auction, optionally set an alarm to remind you of impending auction close. You can view all your auctions via a filtered table based on your own categories entered at the time the record is entered!

Features include: Alarm with Date Book entry, Built in integration to compose an email message to send auction details to anyone you choose, Custom filtering via a category editor, Palm OS 5 compatible, Alternating table row color to ease the eyes and option for registered users to bypass the start-up screen.


Simple and intuitive design makes it a breeze to easily keep tabs on all current active auctions you are involved in or merely keeping an eye on.	Completely customizable filters allow you to view your auctions by your personalized classification system.

Intuitive menu bar for most commonly used text editing functions, as well as providing access to built in help system and email functions.	Easy data entry makes item/auction management a snap! Icon/buttons to set alarms to alert you of impending closing auction and also for e-mailing auction details!

Alarm functions allow you to specify the # of min's advance notice you'd like receive! This also creates an entry in your Date book with details attached as a note!	Advanced editor allows for entering virtually any personalized identifier to sort your auctions by!

lMail message is composed and sent to the "Outbox" of the Palm MAIL program. Resynch with desktop will be required to place the message in the outbox of your desktop application to be sent from there.
General Notes: This application is in its initial public release state. It has been tested on Visor Prism and POSE (Palm OS Emulator) both running Palm OS v 3.5 and runs w/o any noticeable bugs as of yet. The author makes no guarantee that this application will be backward compatible beyond v3.5 Palm OS however, obviously this application should be just fine with later/new versions of Palm OS. Auction Butler was written with minimal color graphics to allow for b/w palms users to not have to install a separate version. The graphics used tested fine on my b/w POSE, just obviously not as visually appealing as on the color screens. Color graphics limited to the splash screen and an optional color icon. v1.3(05-03-03) Added COLOR THEMES! 5 in all to choose from. Minor update to codeset enhance overall performance and compatibility. v1.2 (02-11-03) Lots of updates! Enhanced graphics, alternating colors for table rows, updated code set and added Startup menu option to allow Reg'd users to bypass the Info... screen if they choose. v1.01- Added support for beaming auction records to share with other users! Small Bug fixes associated with category editor.
Installation Notes: To install Auction Butler, one should simply only need to extract the Auction Butler v1.2.zip file that you've download to an empty folder on your computer. Inside this folder are 4 files: license.txt, readme.txt, register.txt and Auction Butler v1.2 Installer.prc. The first three mentioned files are obviously the applications documents which you should read. The last one is the Installer as its name indicates. This file itself is a Palm application so you should only have to double click it to have your HotSync software set it up for installation on your next HotSync session.
