Description and Features:
Debit-Buddy is a handy application for just about everyone these days! Are you like me and subject to forgetting to record your various debit card and ATM transaction? If so, then Debit-Buddy is the solution. This chore is particularly hard to manage if you share an account and you do not have the associated checkbook with you. Remembering not only the transaction amounts, but also what they were for can be especially troublesome. With your Debit-Buddy handy, you can quickly record these transactions at the time of incurrence and never worry about forgetting them again!

Features include: Color graphics for color devices. Palm OS 5 compatible. User defined categories….ie: Places of purchase, Local ATM's..etc.


Application Start/Splas screen. Registered users may bypass this screen if they wish.	Registered user’s have the ability to bypass the startup “Splash/Info” screen via a menu option on the main application screen..

Tap the “New Debit” button to enter your transactions:.	Enter the details of your transaction and select either “Debit” or “ATM” as the type.

General Notes:
Palm OS 5.0 COMPATIBLE! This application is in its initial public release state. It has been tested on Visor Prism and POSE (Palm OS Emulator) both running Palm OS v 3.5 and 4.1 and runs w/o any noticeable bugs as of yet. The author makes no guarantee that this application will be backward compatible beyond v3.5 Palm OS however, obviously this application should be just fine with later/new versions of Palm OS. Try it before you buy it!

Application Requirements:
Debit-Buddy registration scheme requires a HotSync® ID. Therefore, Palm™ Desktop 4.0 or higher and it’s accompanying HotSync® software are required.

Debit-Buddy was written with the color Palm device in mind. However, the graphics used tested fine on my b/w POSE, just obviously not as visually appealing as on the color screens. Graphics are almost as nice on grey scale screens as they are on the COLOR one!

Installation Notes:
1) Open the downloaded Zip file and extract the contents into a temporary directory.

2) In this temp folder you will find 3 PC files with the extension .txt which are text files you should read first, this is one as a matter of fact! A 4th file is the installation program "Debit-Buddy vXXX.PRC" This is an actual Palm application installer, so install this single file onto your device (Usually just double click).

3) Place you Palm device in its cradle and perform a HotSync. The "Debit-Buddy" application files are now installed on your handheld and ready for use.
