Description and Features:
If you enjoy games to test your memory such as classics like " Concentration" and the likes, then you'll LOVE Rune Quest! Similar to classic "Concentration", in Rune Quest, the goal is to find all the matches. However, instead of using a deck of cards you must match RUNE symbols! Sounds easy enough doesn't it!? Well, give it a try and see... it is a bit harder than you think, particularly until you have played long enough to memorize all 16 different RUNES!

Features include:
Rune Quest is currently a single player game, however it tracks and records statistics from many users. Simply enter your name at the -Add Player- popup and Rune Quest will record the # of games completed, and your BEST and WORST scores! Viewable Stat's screen allows you to perform a side by side comparison to other users!

This application is furnished in Demo mode. Meaning it has a number of limitations built into it that still allow you to evaluate the usefulness of the application before registering. There is a 15 Day time limit, so please feel free to demo this app for the full 15 Days! If you find it FUN, then please register and you will receive a personalized registration code that once entered, will lift all restrictions and remove the annoying popups!


Select your name from the popup then Tap "Start".	Each player must first enter their names, as the game will track your individual progress!

Game board starts out with all Runes turned "down".	As you tap the runes, the rune itself is shown. You have 4 attempt for each round to make a match. Matches are removed from the board.

Simple instructions are also provided.	Many features available via the menu bars, like Player Stats. View Total COMPLETED games, along with BEST and WORST scores!

Players may also be deleted at any time.	Using the menu from the main screen, you will find an option to enter your registration code!

General Notes:
Palm OS 5.0 COMPATIBLE! This application is in its initial public release state. It has been tested on Visor Prism and POSE (Palm OS Emulator) both running Palm OS v 3.0, 3.5 and 4.1 and runs w/o any noticeable bugs as of yet. The author makes no guarantee that this application will be backward compatible beyond v3.5 Palm OS however, obviously this application should be just fine with later/new versions of Palm OS. Try it before you buy it!

Rune Quest was written with the color Palm device in mind. However, the graphics used tested fine on my Grey scale POSE, just obviously not as visually appealing as on the color screens. Graphics are almost as nice on grey scale screens as they are on the COLOR one!

Revisions:

None yet, in original version at this time! Future versions will allow for installing additional Phrase Databases!

Installation Notes:
To install Rune Quest, one should simply only need to extract the archive of choice to an empty folder. Once extracted, you will notice 3 files with extension .txt (Readme.txt, License.txt and Register.txt) these are the applications documentations and should be read over at least once.

The SINGLE Palm file in this folder will be that installer. Double click this file to install on your next HotSycn(tm), or install using a different technique you are most familiar with. Once on the device, merely tap the Installer Icon to complete the installation/extraction of the application files onto the device.

This installer will delete itself once installation is complete. If during the installation, it should happen to stop and alert you that other files ALREADY exist on the device and ask you what to do...here is what WE recommend you do to ensure functionality of this app. If given a version number...ALWAYS overwrite the existing file with that in this installer if the existing files version number is EQUAL to or LESS than the one in this installation.

Obviously, if this installer attempts to installer a file with a version number less than an existing file you should NOT allow it, but should tap CANCEL for this file. If no version # is given, then generally you will want to overwrite here as well.
